About the Cover

Cover Figure

COVER PICTURE: The apical colocalization of decay-accelerating factor (CD55, red) and neutrophils (stained for CD11b, green) by confocal laser microscopy, indicating that inhibitory anti-CD55 antibodies result in clustering of neutrophils on the apical aspect of columnar epithelial cells. Such observations provide visual insight into mechanisms of inflammatory lesion formation at mucosal surfaces. See related article by Lawrence et al., 999-1010.
