About the Cover

Cover Figure

Cover picture: Three days after antigenic stimulation, a subset of dendritic cells (blue) interacts with B cells (red) and T cells (green) in the outer zone of a primary lymphoid follicle. These dendritic cells, identified by their capacity to bind the mannose receptor, have the unique capacity to provide peptide to T cells and intact antigen to B cells in order to initiate humoral responses in vivo. See related article in this issue by Berney et al., pp. 851860.
